Beautiful photo!New foliage.![]()
I have 3 different color variations of Yellow Goldens. The bright yellow, Butter color and Tangerine color.I've seen a few golden pheasants over the years, but never any Yellow ones like this.
Very pretty mutation.
Thank you! She is a very pretty girl. I wish I had a larger aviary with tons of live plants and trees for them!Beautiful photo!
How old are they now?
The top photo is what a pure Yellow Golden should look like....the bottom photo is of the Tangerine but it only recently became Tangerine, it was the bright yellow color for about 4 years, it just turned that color with it's molt last year. The other, second photo, is how it's always been....a dilute Yellow Golden, who's parents are in this photo and are also parents of photo 1 and photo 3!Your Goldens are absolutely beautiful Sean - I particularly like the top one.
While I am used to mutations in finches, canaries, quail and doves.
I have not kept Pheasants due to space constraints, so was not aware of these beautiful mutations.
