I have been reading this forum since joining a ton and did not realize how much chickens liked and needed trees. In my 10 acres of pasture, there are no trees within the fenced area where I plan to have them (in a tractor) and the only shade will be in the loafing shed(s) and under the coop.

It is possible to change my plan to just cooped chickens instead of rotational grazing chickens near my tree line -- I do have 8 acres of woods that are all surrounding my pastures -- I just have a fence.

What is a feasible solution so I have some happy ladies?

Here is the coop, in case someone asks: (will be slightly shorter)

You can also set up shelters, pallets on blocks etc
Yeah after I posted me and my husband were chatting about it -- and this is what we sort of realized, we will just have to bring along a pop up gazebo for them and move it with the tractor haha
