I have an 8 months old silkies and she seem to have her left leg not working but nothing seems to be broken. It’s been like that for a few weeks and she is not getting better. I also notice another silkies having trouble walking today but that one seems worst. They are free range and I give them lots of fresh food.
Anyone could help me am not sure what’s wrong with them.

I give them lots of fresh food, layer pellets and Chiken scratch insect and seeds.
I would add a vitamin supplement to their water, and cut back on the treats (fresh food and scratch, etc). Just feed their regular poultry layer feed. If they free range they will catch their own bugs etc.

Also make sure there isn’t anything toxic they may get into (plants, chemicals, etc), trust me they will eat the paint off the barn door, tear apart insulation and styrofoam (and eat), and if you fall down in the barn they’ll peck out your eyes!

Sure hope they are ok I have a soft spot for silkies.

Also it might help if you can post a video of their movements. You can put the video up on YouTube and post the link here (that’s what most of us do).

Seeing how they move might shed light on things.

Thank you for the feedback here is the video.

I hope that’s all it is vitamins deficiency.
Would a pile of grass cutting from my compost be a problem?
