My Turken chick has a weird wound on her neck

Hey there, here is her progress on day 2 after being separated. It looks better and worse. I think she itches it and it tears her skin. I am using the antibiotic ointment with no pain killer and then Banixx spray. Not sure what else to do?

Banixx can work well, but I'd leave it off and just apply the triple antibiotic ointment and see if that makes a difference in itching.

Do you have a metal feeder? I have raised Turken chicks and I found they cut their necks pretty bad (especially the top and bottom) on the sharp edges. If you have a metal one, replace it with a plastic on ASAP.

May I ask why? Maybe it’s irritating her skin?

Banixx doesn't keep the tissue moist like triple antibiotic ointment. I'd use the Banixx for cleaning when necessary.
