I am almost thinking it might not be a single comb, but instead a pea comb. I think if it was a single comb it would be more noticeable. Could be wrong though.

This one looks to be a bantam so that wouldn't fit. Mottled Java's are standard sized. Good thinking though!

I just searched them, they don't look quite right either. IMO
They have more mottling it seems.
