Any guesses - was purchased as an egger but is lack the cheek puff the other two have - can it still be an egger - if not any guesses?

This could be a Starlight Green egger, easily. Most of those have single combs and no beards. There are a lot of different kinds of eggers these days.

It looks like all my Rhode Island Reds did when they were babies. It could be a Starlight Green Egger as said above, or maybe a Cherry Egger. Where did you buy them?

I got two "olive egger" chicks last year, one had the cheeks, one had feathered legs. My Speedy Cheeks was indistinguishable from my Black Jersey Giants until they got to what I call their "Dinosaur Era" Now she has a full beard and cheeks. I hatched 3 of her babies this winter. All roosters. One with beard and cheeks, two without. never can tell.

Curious myself, I have two that look similar to this, one has feathered legs, the other doesn't.
