He won't tie his dog up because he wants him to be happy.

That is so shocking! One life that will be inconvienced for a little while against the literal lives of around 70 other animals. I would make him clean up the birds his dog kills or demand a compensation per bird.

He offered to replace the Malay Hen, but the type I have are nearly impossible to find, so I've started gathering eggs from my flock for hatching.

My Aunt is now worried about the dog possibly chasing, & killing her new birds(Currently in brooder, to young for outside) once moved out. Apparently he's never done this before. The killing part. He's chased before though.

Gonna clean the incubator tomorrow so I can get it prepared. Just need my Aunt to find the power cord to it.

Some of the cream eggs are from my short Beaked pullet. Hopefully she's been fertilized by the males I want chicks from.
