Will be happy once we get our own place. My uncle put in a chicken door that's way to small. They tried telling me it's a standard sized chicken door, but my Malay Cock, & Bull Stags can just barely squeeze through it, & it's way to small for our Bourbon Red Turkey hen. I have to pick her up, & carry her to the run.

No, he cut it himself, & put a hinge, & spring latch.

One thing that really bugged me earlier, besides the coop door thing, was my cousin walked by me, dipped his fingers in the water I was using to wash eggs, & said: "My Mama said not to wash eggs in warm water."
I don't care what water other's use to wash their eggs, I use either warm, or cold mostly depending on how dirty they are, just don't push what you do, & what you think is right onto me, we all have our own preferences on certain things.

Also apparently my aunt wanted me to use the float test on the eggs, which isn't the most accurate in figuring out age, as fresh eggs at 3 days old will float sometimes.
