Ok so. I’ll go over it quick.
The idea is a hose is connected to a 5 gallon bucket that is connected to a pvc pipe with holes drilled out of it for my ducks to put their heads into.
Ideally the bucket will be filled and will only fill enough to be slightly over where the tube is inside the pipe. Sort of a gravity fed system.
I’m having a problem where it will just keep flowing into the pipe and overflow thru the holes. Is this an issue with the bucket being force filled by the hose? Everything in the bucket side of it has been sealed with waterproof silicone.
Is this something that just generally won’t work due to gravity? I’m trying to build a larger system for my ducks because they make a god damn mess with their water.
Any ideas or suggestions is welcome. I’m blowing thru bedding and just trying to figure out a solution.
Picture attached, and yea my coop is ghetto.
