Need help sexing my 5 month old silkie?

This is my first time raising silkie and y’all were not kidding when you said sexing is tough

Wondering if I could get any insight for my young black silkie!

I’m kind of torn because I think he means more into rooster lol

No crowing, and no comb yet tho and I feel like when looking at other silkies this age they have a pretty decent comb? But the red wattles are also throwing me off.

Just looking for some more insight!

It looks like hatchery quality, which isn't always a bad thing as it can see, and live a more normal life.

Can I get your opinion for my other Silkie? A little younger than my black silkie but I’m thinking pullet. No wattles or comb, blue earlobes, kinda sassy but not aggressive

It looks like a pullets too. I'm not a Silkie expert, maybe @Debbie292d can ad her opinion. She breeds them.

I going to go with pullet on the first one too, but this partridge one leans cockerel to me. It’s still too soon, but that messy tail!

Thank you! I’m really hoping at least one is a pullet I wouldn’t mind having a silkie pair but I will be sad if they are both roosters
