Need Ideas for Painting designs on the outside of the coop

The kids are wanting to paint designs on the outside of the chicken coop and I'm looking for ideas? The coop can be seen when you pull up to my house so I want it to look neat but simple so the Kiddos can do it. If you have pics that would be great. Thanks in advance

Cant get a picture to post, but this was a very neat chicken made from a handprint: the kids could wear a latex glove, dip their hand in a shallow plate of paint and then create the chicken head when the handprint is dried. Very participatory for them... I would let them paint a bottom border of grass, then have them do their handprints right over the grass. They could do puffy clouds, a tree, and a big shining sun easily, too...

Since I have absolutely no creativeness I would use stencils. But love the hand print idea above!

You could do the kids hands as chicks, and your own as the momma hen and hubby could be a rooster! Lol! I really hope you try it...i have no younguns so it would not be nearly so fun for me...

And burnt orange is a nice sunset color: they could all be heading toward the coop door at sunset if you paint a half sun behind the grass.

Thanks that is an great idea! I have saw where they make a turkey but I never would have thought to make a chicken. Definitly gonna have some fun with this project.

This is the stage of the chicken tractor-construction that I'm in too! Fun ideas! I'm thinking I'll be heavily relying on stencils. But I also bought a tin sign from e-bay to put on an exterior wall -something about a rooster bed and breakfast.

Someone on here painted a barn quilt on her coop. Simple geometric design that you could lay out for them then have them "color inside the lines" with paint.
