need ideas on a egg sign when egg are sold out

what are some good ideas when you need to put a soldout of eggs on your sign. i paper clipped a soldout on the sign made of cardboard but when it rains it gets ruined. anyone got any ideas.

Can you post a pic of your current sign?? If it's on legs, you could hinge a lightweight board to the bottom of your current sign, and then just flip it up to cover your "sale" message (would need a small latch). You coud paint "sold out today" on the board.

Or throw a rug over the sign when eggs are unavailble. I know it is not pretty, but that's what people in my area do.

i'd paint a little sold out sign and clip it on there....use some good wood and varnish it....that way it won't look bad!
