Just want to point out that nobody fights egg layer roosters. So the fact that PETA doesn't know that is rather telling.

Well we are talking about the people that once sent out a newsletter email detailing a horrific practice they had recently become aware of, in which sadist farmers have fun torturing mother cows by reaching in and wrapping a chain their unborn caves and yanking them out.

Just one random episode of Dr. Pol and they would have figured this one out….or maybe not.
