You don't need a cockerel to incubate eggs. You can get fertilized eggs from someone else and incubate them yourself.

best advice I can give you is wait and let the broodies do it, , less stress and less temptations so you don't become a hatchaholic with added worry those final 3 daysHaha As much as I would like to learn how to do that and to actually see a chick hatch the cockerel factor is stopping me. It’s a good thing or else I would have a million of them
Possible, but not highly probable.Ohhh I didn’t know that. In that case the culprit did a really good job in not leaving any trace of it. Could this turn into egg eating? Is it possible for a hen to lay a normal egg and for the liquid to come out at the same time? The reason I’m asking is because there were 2 eggs in the box at the time and they were still warm.
I have fake eggs in each box. I think you nailed it. Three different pullets. Nothing out of the ordinary happened todayPossible, but not highly probable.
But that's a good reason to collect any weak eggs as often as possible, and to have fake eggs in the nest too.
Chances are 3 different birds laid the 3 eggs, tho a pullets can lay a fully shelled egg quickly followed by a softie. Eggs laid earlier in the day can feel warm if another bird has been in the nest.
