Well and update on my hatch over the weekend. Didn't have as many broodies as I'd like, 3 stopped all together, and 1 was a younger one who hatched out 2.
Got new color from sis' lilac hen, mixed with butterscotch boy.
Pastel/Pale blue bibbed according to calculator.
She's absolutely gorgeous!
Also hatched out chocolate bibbed, Blue? bibbed, 2 black, and another butterscotch we think. We had 8 total. The young hen got off the nest for a while and when I got out there they were cold. We didn't get anymore after that, I found 3 eggs, 2 triple pipped almost zipping, they made it. One did not.
But we are thankful for what we got that's for sure.
My eggs are under Brahma Mama now. She's a heavy setter, so I hope to hear and see them in the next few days. Will keep you posted.
Congratulations, Kate, on the new babies.
I can't wait to see how they feather out.
That's a TINY little bill on that Pastel/Pale Blue Bib baby-she should be stunning!
