Actually, I ordered three to be on the safe side. According to TSC, each coop will accommodate 5. I’m linking them together to create one. My property slopes; because of the area I chose to place my coop I had to select smaller coops. I ordered 3 to join together in a U shape so that they won’t be over crowded. My neighbor who had the chickens I cared for has the ideal area. We had talked about me using his property but because of his extremely poor health, I didn’t want to chance the fact there may be legal ramifications should he pass away.
