If you are made aware that we have lost a BYC member, please send me a private message with the following information:

BYC Username
Real name
Year dates of birth/death
Link to a memorial thread here on BYC
Link to an obituary notice for confirmation.

Once confirmed, I will apply the Loving Legacy medal, replace their title with their birth year and death year, add them to the In Memoriam thread and put a link in their signature to a memorial thread here on BYC, if there is one.

I am somewhat bothered by the other medals being removed and replaced with this one. I think any others they earned should stay untouched. Otherwise, I like the idea. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the feedback. The other medals are removed to indicate the Loving Legacy medal as being a level far above a regular medal.

That is a ok reason, but I still find it to look off. Maybe making the Loving Legacy medal bigger than all the others is a option.

I just don't feel it's right to also remove other medals, regardless of how high the honor is.
