Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My family had a few chickens until 2008. We're finally in an area where we can keep them again, so we're starting from scratch.
How many chickens do you have right now?37
What breeds do you have?We've some barnyard mutts, an ameraucana rooster, leghorns and naked necks just arrived.
What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Eggs, entertainment, I like trying to figure out genotypes/phenotypes.
What are some of your other hobbies?
Horses, goats, computers (if I have time :/ )
Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.We're now a multi generational farm, my parents are 1st gen farmers so we're all still sort of learning as we go.

Threads come up all the time in searches, going back a long while. Hoping to do things properly this time around and actually ask questions (hopefully) before making mistakes.
