(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had chickens since 2023 and my sister shows them for her FFA class
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have about 41 chickens
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have a bunch of breeds including D'uccles, Silkies, Cochins, Polish, Polish x silkie mix, easter Eggers, brahmas, americuanas, Russian orloff, Wyandotte, barred rock, and some BYM's
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love collecting cute little chickens and getting cool eggs! Me and my sister also show some of our Cochins and D'uccles (We have won best in show and fan favorite!). We are also working on breeding Millie Fleur D'uccles!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy reading and making things on my Cricut! I can also play a few instruments and have a small garden!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Prior to my chickens I have owned 3 hairless guinea pigs (2 regular guinea pigs as well), a hedgehog, a bunch of saltwater fish, andsome seahorses! I currently have one Cavachon named Tanner who's a Bichon cavalier mix! Im currently studying criminology and law! Me and my sister also run @Swiftchicks13 on instagram, TikTok, Lemon8 and Facebook if y'all wanna give us a follow!!
