Hello, I am new here and very new to hatching and raising chickens. It has been quite an interesting and rewarding experience. I've learned a lot already, which probably doesn't even begin to touch the surface of the subject.
I currently have 2 adorable baby Polish chicks that are going on 2 weeks and have 12 eggs incubating. My son used to have chickens and had the hankering to own some again, so we decided to try hatching our own this time. I won't be keeping these these little guys even though they've already won my heart and impress me daily as they grow; they'll go to my son once they're of age, but I just want to say how happy I am for BYC forums. It has been very helpful and encouraging for those (like me) who could use a little help.
