(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Fairly New, we got our first chickens in April of 2024. Started with 6 Silkies and a Royal Palm hen.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
now we have 10 silkies
1 Rhode island red
5 Rhode island white? (What i was told) not so sure thats what they are
3 BYM
2 Polish
2 Frizzle
1 Brahmah
1 Gold laced Duckwinged Old English?
Royal Palm Pair
1 bantam Cochin Roster
LOTS of silkie & BYM chicks
oh and we now have quail
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
All thier personalities
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We also raise Holland Lops
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We live in the middle of nowwhere, little mayberry town lol we homeschool, & we love our tiny little farm with our animals
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
On Google, i used it a few times before to read somw forms

And Quail too! Fun little birds Quail are, big personality in a tiny package!
