(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am new to raising them myself i grew up on a farm with them in the 80's but other than being told to go collect eggs and feed them they weren't something i was interested in.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 6 8-week old hopefully all hens
(3) What breeds do you have? 2 Sapphire Gems, 2 Jersey Giants, and 2 Americanas
(4) What are some of your other hobbies? I like to quilt and garden and in the winter i spend too much time online gaming
(5) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am married 25 years this summer I have 1 adult son. we have 2 lab mix females Annie and Izzy and 6 chicks Elphaba, Nessarose, Bellatrix, Narcissa, Rebel Wilson and Fat Amy or Fat Albert if she is a he
(6) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I joined about a month ago but was mostly reading other posts looking for more information on raising these tiny velociraptors
