Has anyone ever used New skin on healing bumblefoot? the plug has been removed and we're in the healing stages now, but the hen is pulling off the self-adhesive wrap. Thanks for any info!

Photos of the foot?

Wrapping a foot can be interesting. Once you get the hang of it, most birds can't get the wrappings off.
Cut your vet wrap into narrow strips and use that to wrap.

As for New Skin, never used it on a chicken. Used it on me one time, never again. Smells like nail polish remover (because it contains acetone) and burns like crazy, but you can try it if you wish and let us know what happens.

I'm going to stay away from the new skin. I re-wrapped her this afternoon (of course forgot photos) with a different brand and they're staying well!
