New to Chickens!

Hello

I currently have 5 four-five week old chicks.
Two are sexed Australorps
1x unsexed black Araucana
1x unsexed splash Maran
1x unsexed silver Barnevelder

I think the maran is a roo but hoping the other two are female! I live in Perth, Western Australia (but I’m from Vancouver, Canada) & live in a very populated area so we can’t have any roosters.

I have been plant-based for 13 years and miss eggs more than any other animal product so I am extremely eggcited to finally have chicken eggs back. We will have 9 pets now (plus two toddlers who love the Chickens already)

Those chicks look closer to 5-6 weeks old and they are more than ready to be outside in a much larger coop. I don't see any of them screaming cockerel.

Hi from the other side of Oz

Were the Australorp's sexed as females? Even though it is a bad angle pullets don't usually have combs that big at 4 to 5 weeks old. With the shape of that comb I'm thinking that the splash Marans looks like it might be a boy too and the other 2 look like pullets to me.
