I live in Alaska. Have lived here for 15 years. It's the most amazing place in the world. I feel like I'm on Vacation everyday(even in WINTER)

I'm married to a man who loves me and supports my crazy chicken notions

I home school my kids all, 6 of them. Having chickens help us learn amazing things about nature and life.

I'm an accidental Chicken Mama. The house we purchased already had them (only 7) and in one year I've quadrupled the flock. It has become the most wonderful, fun experience. I currently have RIR, Wyandottes, Buff Orphies, Black Copper Marans, a couple Easter Eggers and a leg horn.

And right now my Black Copper is Broody and Hatching her first clutch of eggs.
