Newbie addicted to the chicken life!

I could’ve written your post myself! I’m in Manitoba, just got chickens in April and am obsessed! We actually will likely move to AB in a couple years and I was telling my husband I want to do exactly what you want to do! Lol

I want 3+ coops, one for my pet girls lol, another one or two for my future heritage breed breeding business lol and then a small bonus coop for if I need to have some isolated if I’m adding some new ones to the farm or needing to separate them for whatever reason.

I’m obsessed, I ordered 24 hatching eggs for the spring to expand lol!

One cheap way to get by with a "new" coop is make a little hutch for them and attach it to a pen.

This is what hubby makes for our current temp coops, although we bought an Amish garden shed recently he's making four more out of. Ours are silkies, thus the ladders.
