Hey everyone, this is JBGoods. We've owned chickens for almost 2 years now!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Almost 2 years but fairly new.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
27
(3) What breeds do you have?
Brahma, Buff Orpington, Easter Egger, Copper Maran, Golden Comet, Cinnamon Queen, Deathlayer, Zombie Chickens, and a Leghorn.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Their personality and teaching my kids responsibilities and the circle of life. Also learning and teaching our kids how to become self sufficient.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Crafting/woodworking, cooking; my wife bakes and can do just about anything with her hands.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have 2 kiddos and a dog. We have become something of a homestead and enjoy it.
