(1) I am new to chickens and first got little bantams in March of '23. I have been wanting to live out in the countryside with chickens since I was in highschool working with the FFA

(2) I currently have 11 Chickens and 5 Guinea fowl

(3) Two mystery Bantams, a very Large barnyard Rooster, 3 Buff Orpington, 2 Black Australorps & 3 Easter eggers

(4) I find Chickens extremely peaceful, like watching Fish in a tank, with none of the water conditioning stress haha. They are family and I strive to give them their best possible lives

(5) I have 5 rescue dogs and I love to work alongside any animal in need, without going overboard.

(6) I live with my parents on 4 lovely forested acres, where we plan to fix it up for a few goats and a large garden in the next couple of years

(7) In the years leading up to my ownership of chickens, I found almost all of my questions were answered here. I'm so grateful this website exists, as I love animals and learning everything I can brings me joy!

The black one is Roo and brown is Spider, both approx 9month old. Roo lays cream colored eggs and Spider lays off white
