(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I’ve had them less then a year I got them in the spring and ducks in the summer
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
8 Hens and 6 Ducks
(3) What breeds do you have?
Lots 3 golden comets, an Easter egger, a green egger, a leghorn, a buff oprington, and a tolbunt polish
Then I have three Cayugas (ones a crested I wouldn’t have gotten had I know the health problems and issues with breeding) 2 anaconas and a brown one I’m not sure yet
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Got them for eggs then just found them to be adorable
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
ADHD so I go through lots of hobbies, I find animals help me focus as the necessity to care for them sort of overrides the chaos so taking care of and training my German Shepard and two cats along with cross-stitching, reading, gaming, cooking, etc
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Searching for help online with my new babies and wanting multiply options from people that had them and seemed to care about their well being
