Hello.

I recieved 8 eggs in the mail. 4 are dark marans, so I am not basing this question on those eggs. The others are light cream legbar blue. I rested them before popping them in incubator. However. On candling before putting them in, I realised that there is NO air cells to be seen.

What does this mean?

TIA

All eggs develop an air cell immediately after it is laid as the contents cool and contract.
Blue eggs can be just as difficult to candle as dark eggs. The blue pigment is throughout the shell, not just on the surface.
