well, its a year old, never any "cock a doodle dooing".Any idea why its not crowing? It has been run off by the others a lot though. Just recently in the past 3 months it has come more into the flock. I have never seen it try and mate at all. All the others bow to me. I will just have to keep my eyes peeled for any other signs. Some roosters take longer than others to crow. Some rarely crow. Some don't crow at all. If he was ran off I suspect he's not the highest ranking chicken, even if it's a pullet higher than him.
