Hi ,
I am doing some research on Coops for about 8 -10 chickens. Any feedback would be very appreciated! Has anyone had experiences with companies below:
Backyard coops of NC: www.ncbackyardcoops.com
Leonard sheds www.leonardusa.com/chicken-coops
Carolina Coops

The most affordable is Backyard coops of NC. Would love to hear from someone who has their coops.
Thanks!

We bought from NC Backyard Coops instead of building our own again to save time. I have built two coops in the past using ideas from this site and You Tube.

The owner (Steve?) was over the top about his product and design. The coop had wide gaps in the wood that needed to be caulked and sealed. I mentioned this to him and he said the 1/4” gaps will swell up and seal which did not and could not happen.

Exposed hardware cloth edges snag clothing, oversized door bolt with screws driven in at angles, auto water and feeder needed modifications to function properly.

The wood used is good quality and the design is interesting but not traditional.
The coop is not worth what we paid for it
and I suggest either building your own or buying from another builder.
