Help! I have 12 bbs Ameraucanas that are 5 wks old . I have them in a brooder in my garage. One was dead this morning . Any suggestions

They should still be at about 75 degrees for their age.
I would put some save a chick in their water and hopefully that helps perk em up.
I do that for the first few weeks for chicks just in case they need an extra bump and it has lowered my mortality rate.
An unlimited supply of food and water, consistent 75 degrees, and a quiet and calm environment are all my suggestions. Keep us posted. Sounds like you may have noticed early enough to turn them around.

Hi Everyone! I used to be a breeder in Northern California http://www.theomeletranch.com , sold my flocks when we moved to Mexico for 3 years and now we are on Lake Norman, NC! We love it here but miss my chickens! We are going to build a smallish coop and keep just 6 (promise!) hens.

I'm looking for some adults or pullets but I'm a bit of a chicken snob. Looking for large fowl only, a buff and black big fluffy orpington, a barred rock, easter egger/americana, Partridge Brahma, delaware, or other fun and fancy breeds. No bantams or silkies.

I'd appreciate any leads, THANKS

Hey! I just got my girls from a breeder just south of Gastonia, (about 45 minutes from you) Check her out on FB, She sells 5-7 wk old pullets that are coop ready, I think she will have some available in November Margaret's roost. Hope this helps!
