I went natural for weed killer with a mix of white vinegar and salt for around the coop but is this solution ok if I overspray on the soil my chickens forage in? Or can it make them sick?
I was careful to try not overspray but I'm sure some drops would have landed in a small area they do have access too... So should I block off the area I think where I have sprayed for a week or permanently? Or is it ok for the chickens?

Nice! Does it harm grass or any other plants around it?
Yes. It kills every plant/ weed/ grass you spray... apparently it won't grow back ever, nothing will grow in that spot again. I guess I'll find out eventually if this is true.. I don't want anything to grow where I sprayed anyway so its fine if nothing grows there between rocks and fence/ coop.

OH no! I just was reading up on https://www.fresheggsdaily.blog/2016/07/7-natural-non-toxic-weed-control.html

IT SAYS SALT harmful to chickens!! I'll have to block off the run area I oversprayed!

---- from website...
I also want to caution you about using salt to kill weeds. Not only can salt in even fairly small amounts be harmful to your chickens if they eat it, salt has a terribly detrimental effect on the makeup of soil, so you don't want to use it as weed control in your garden unless you don't plan on growing anything there for awhile!
