My chickens have become somewhat of a hobby for me. I got my first batch of Amberlink chicks in February 2020. They're all gone now, but since I raised two Rhode Island Reds from chicks, then I incubated and hatched 8 chicks, then I got a broody hen whose raised my last group. She currently sitting on some new eggs set to hatch any day.
I live in eastern Montana with my 3 dogs and 3 cats. Our summers can get as high as 110F and -40F is common in the winter. Those conditions create some challenges with raising chickens.
I frequently find myself on this forum when I have questions about my chickens to see what others have recommended. I finally decided it was time to join.
