@drumstick diva you good with this sort of thing. At what age can you tell gender? Six weeks? Or is it later than that

They are similar to silkies and hard to sex when young but mine start to get a pinkish ting to the skin if they are a roo at about 8 weeks.

She lays like this frequently- is it sunbathing? She lays with one wing splayed out. She’s able to fly quite well, and doesn’t act like it hurts when I hold her, but none of the others do it.

Melting chicken! Just kidding. This is perfectly normal. She is just soaking up some sun
I have noticed my that (for whatever reason), my two darkest colored hens are particularly fond of sun bathing. My barred cochin will flop down in all sorts of unlikely spots, stretch out, and catch some rays.

Btw, you little one seems to get cuter all the time

This is a picture of my girl Bubbles sun-bathing with her foster babies. You can't quite see it in this picture, but her right wing is fully extended. She fell asleep like this a couple minutes later
