I just lost a hen as well on October 11, I still think about her every day but I don't cry anymore like I did the first day I found out about her passing

Have you considered stamping her foot into clay to make a memento/keepsake?

Update - she passed away today. I’m gutted. I loved my Ophelia and I hate I let her stay in pain too long
