Not urgent. Swollen eyes? Face?

So as I sit with them I noticed this girl, really puffy eyes. I first thought it was because she was in the dust bath? And she was doing the neck stretch yawn.

And as I type this my son is like, that one always looks like that. But he would know more than me as he's always out here. But...

There's nothing in her throat. She's acting like a chicken, not slowing down, walking fine, eating drinking.

She is laying and did lay today-- son says she's the one that lays in the coop.

Maybe it's just the way she is? And the yawning is because she got dust?

So, one of my hens does this when they get out of a dust bath. It seems almost as if she has allergies from the dirt. Keep an eye on here as it may be a sign of infection.

The eye looks like a symptom of mycoplasma gallisepticum or MG. That is a symptom of a common chronic respiratory disease. Is she the only one that has the symptom? Does she have any head shaking, mucus from her beak, or sneezing? You can clean her eye twice a day and apply a small dab of either Terramycin eye ointment found at feed stores usually locked up for security, or plain Neosporin, Triple Antibiotic ointment in to her eye also twice a day. Pull down on the lower lid and put it in then close the lid. Tylosin or Tiagard can help treat symptoms in sick birds. MG is a lifelong infection, and symptoms may come and go. Is she adjusting her crop in the third picture? Here is some reading on MG:

It looks like she has bubbles in the corner of her eye, which can be a symptom of Mycoplasma, a respiratory infection. Tylosin treatment can control symptoms, but she will be a carrier for life.

None of the above. I sat out with them for over two hours and nothing- no sneezing, no mucus, no shaking. The longer she was out of the dirt bath area the less red she was.

ETA she's the only one. Like she got dirt in her eyes or allergic reaction ?

And yes. Adjusting crop, thought she was yawning/gasping so checked her throat too but she only did it twice and was done.

There are a couple of labs and maybe more, such as vetdna (RAL) and Zoologix where you can get materials and swabs, and send to them in for PCR tests or a panel of 8 tests for respiratory diseases, and it is private.
