Notification Problemz

Not mine. They all seem to be when the reaction was made, as I could have 20 notifications for the same reply all mixed in with others. I would not think it matters that I'm on a desktop PC and using the web. I'm on the iPad so seldom I don't know if there's a difference.

Our internet is a turtle compared to what I've seen yours is too, so this is very weird.

I'm sorry I should have clarified. I was talking about reply alerts. Not reaction alerts.

It any of you guys are not clicking the alert to view it you will not get another alert for that particular thread because you never viewed the first alert.
You have to view each alert in order to receive another/new alert.

For me, it seems to work if I view the page with the reply, regardless of whether I get there by actually clicking the alert or whether I get there some other way (click the thread in a list of recent threads, refresh the page I had open, get there with a bookmark, etc.)

I do have to be logged in while I do it. Clicking the link in an email, and going to the page without being logged in to BYC, will not do it.

But yes, it seems I have to actually load the page with the reply before the system will send me any other alerts about replies in that thread.

Yes, you have to be logged in and view the page before a new alert for a reply comes.

To view your followed content click on the arrow next to the Forums button in the navigation menu then click Watched. It will show you a list of all the threads and forums you follow and those with content that you haven't viewed yet will be in bold text.

Happens to me too, sometimes I'll get notifications from a thread and then all of a sudden I stop getting notified for no particular reason...I feel bad because sometimes I don't see when people quote my post or ask me a question or something and they probably think I ghosted them
