Nutrena All Flock, 3 month old Silkies

Hi there, I was curious if the Nutrena All Flock has enough protein for 3 Month old Silkie Chicks, as I hear they need a little bit more then a regular Chicken. The nutrena all flock has 20% protein, and i’ve been adding black oil sunflower seeds along with mealworms, and poultry cell in there water once a week. Am I doing this right ? TIA.

I've never heard that, however they do need more bs and es.
20% is fine.
Nix the sunflower seeds and mealworms, too much fat. Or drop it to a small amount once a week.

I use that feed. Also the sunflower seeds, & mealworms are treats, & shouldn't be mixed in the feed.

For Poultry Cell, that's fine though I occasionally mix it in a wet mash, & feed to all birds in different coops for added nutrients if I feel it's needed.
