Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

My question is how are my dragons gonna get incorporated into the story if no one knows where they are and they stay isolated lol

we will probably just figure it out as we go
That was my problem with the other WoF rp, my characters didn't slide smoothly into the story so they stayed out and I got frustrated and vanished lol. We'll see what happens.

I start???

I'm ready to start if you are

Sunspot spiraled higher and higher into the air, her sharp eyes scanning the sandy dunes below. The hot desert sun reflected off of her wings.
She tilted her wings and folded into a dive, the her wing blades stacking over each other as her wings closed. She could hear nothing but the wind in her ears, and that's the way she liked it.
She loved the desert in all of its openness and freedom. And for one other reason. Her ears picked up the sound of wingbeats, and she pulled out of her dive with a wry grin, spotting a group of black dragons flying her way from the direction of the Scorpion Den, and fast.
Sunspot had the advantage of there being nowhere for hunters to hide their dragons black scales on the dunes. She could see them from miles away.
Rather than fleeing, Sunspot turned lazy circles, until the group was about a mile inbound and Sunspot could see the greedy humans on the NightWing's backs.
They never learn. Sunspot thought in slight amusement, tilting her wings so the reflection from the sun blinded the dragons. She heard pained yelps and the group split, spreading across the sky and picking up speed.
Sunspot did a lazy backwards flip and took off low over the dunes, knowing the hopeless hunters would be in quick persuit. Nothing was more valuable to them than a young SolarWing in her prime. But she wasn't worried. They'd never catch her.

A dart whizzed past her ear, probably filled with some sort of tranquilizer, but Sunspot didn't mind. She flattened her crest to her neck, filled with adreneline from the chase.
Suddenly a black dragon appeared in directly in front of her, lunging for her. Sunspot yelped and swerved, the tip of her right wing catching the sand and causing her to crash snoutfirst into the dunes, golden sand flying everywhere.
Sunspot rolled rapidly to her feet, avoiding another volley of darts. Uh oh.
Then she spontaneously combusted. Literally. Flames burst from her scales, just as a NightWing lunged at her. The moment his talons made contact with her, he let out a shriek and stumbled backwards, his rider yelling angrily and hitting him with some kind of rod.
Sunspot laughed, taking a deep breath, feeling the fire within.
The hunters scattered like a flock of crows as she blasted fire into the sky. They spiraled around above her. The humans seemed to be communicating in a way that wasn't yelling, because they were quickly reorganizing.
Sunspot dropped down, her wing-thumbs acting as supports. Her wing-blades splayed out in a defensive, razor sharp fan, and she glared up at her enemies. She might be in trouble this time.

(Sorry if this is too much)

Also, most of the participants aren't active right now so it might take a while for things to really start rolling. Also, could I use your artwork for Eclipse and/or Whitestar as my profile when it's finished?
Of course! I'll do headshots of them so you can see them better.

Robin was waking up. He couldn't see much through the trees, but the sky looked nice. He flew above the trees. The sky was blue. The air was fresh. Everything was great. He flew up higher. He could already see people at the park. He flew towards the park and ascended at the same time. Most humans didn't notice him. Occasionally a little kid saw him, and told their parents. By that time, he was gone and the parents dismissed it as nothing more than the child's imagination.
