It's been almost four & a half years since @Kiki started this poll.

How have you all been? Are you still using the same incubators?

Not much has changed here but we have added two new incubators and aren't using the broody hens as much. We've added an Rcom Maru MX380CD cabinet incubator and a Brinsea Ovation 56 EX Connect.

I still sometimes use broodies, if they want to go broody. I still mainly use store bought force air incubators, but I bought a new one of a different brand 2 and a half years ago because I wanted more egg capacity and a better insulation.

I prefer a broody hen, but I got a free incubator (Fiem smart 24)
https://fiem.it/en/prodotti/avicoli/smart-24-dig/
Basically the owners of the FIEM company were friends with my steps, so they gave him a downgraded FIEM SMART that was meant to hatch turtle eggs.
I just added all the missing pieces (fan, digital display, egg turner) and it turned to be a very good incubator for its size.
Price and quality wise, FIEM is the italian version of Brinsea.

I have three Maticoopx 30s, two are still in the box.

Back then I was using 4 of these Hovabators
3 for incubators and one for a hatcher.

Soon after I bought a new one and a big window model for a hatcher.
Times have changed.....

Since then I built my PepsiBator.

I used it the last 4 years. 100 hatches for 3,104 chicks in that time.

Old Leahy favorite cabinet (haven't used it yet)
Picked this cabinet incubator up from a client at work.

Old Brower (needs new heating element)
This one needs work but it's from the 60s so I just wanted it.

GQF Chick-Bator
Picked this one up just because it was a blast from the past.
This little model was Moony's first incubator. Bought it out of a comic book.

Then a couple years ago I decided to try out different table top incubators for the heck of it.
I have and have used all these....

I have had way more success with broodies than with incubators!! I had an rcom king suro 20, an rcom 10 eco and a Bruja 2000 , every time it was a hurried emergency buy (2. hand) cos I didn’t have a broody but hatching eggs ( sadly, you can’t always control when you get them) but once only one chicken hatched ( out of 30 eggs 🥴) and the other 2 times I had a broody and resold the incubators 😅😅
