I dusted the birds with poultry dust and ordered permethrin spray for my coop. Anything else i need, i was thinking maybe flame thrower?:lau

That should do it. The permethrin has instructions for the coop and the birds, two different mixes, but best to spray the birds when it's above freezing. This weather is horrible.

That stuff is like $175.00 a gallon! Husband would freak.
That’s for 8 oz.... I bought mine on eBay for cheaper. I can sell some if you want. It is wet so cold weather isn’t the time to use it. Let me know.

Anyone really! I’d be glad to ship off small amounts. Cheaper then buying the whole bottle.

Burn The bedding. You don't want them wondering out and getting into it or them crawling back towards them. I did the poultry dust and the P whatever spray. They had a sprayer at Tractor Supply for $10. Just make sure you Retreat in 7 to 10 days even if you don't see any mites. Do a total Coop clean out although some people say you don't need it. Personally I dealt with it it was warm and I completely gutted my coop and removed everything. I burned anything that I could replace and sprayed the hell out of it. Then I puffed poultry dust on my birds and stuck them back in the coop. I didn't do anything to the runs except for rake them out but after the first treatment I didn't see any more mites, but I did do a second treatment a week later. After that we were still good so I did not retreat a 3rd time.

I’ve heard if you empty out your coop then spray it down with bleach let it soak in and rinse it out after ten minutes that will kill all the bugs. I know dish soap will kill any and all bugs and you can spray it on anything plants animals the ground and it is safe
