Morning all.

It seems like things are moving along. Hopefully we'll have electric soon and the septic guy is going to start work next week. Once we have electric, I'll be contacting the guy to get the well plumbed to the house.

:woot
Good news on the home front!

Everyone is tended. Bitty is being a good mama. They had been out enough yesterday for someone to poop on top of the waterer.

I made her let me see them. As soon as I put them down they headed under mum.
:yesss:

I watched Miss May for a bit. She ate some. I still don't think it is much but she ate.

The total count for turkey eggs hatching was 8/12. All with perfect feet. The 4 looked like late quiters or late so I put them in the incubator. So far they aren't doing anything

2 of the wlr cornish looked like late quiters or late so I left all those eggs in too. The other 10 were either early quiters or duds.

out of the 4 eggs from my flock, 2 were duds ... one hatched sometime after 8pm on the 3rd, due date, and 6am on the 4th. A sweet white girl, very quite. The first broody didn't want her but the second did.
this morning, the 7th, a black boy chick hatched out of my eggs. Latest I have ever had. If it was under a broody I would think someone added an egg. :th Wish it was a wlr cornish though.
3 white cornish look good and are due tomorrow. :pop

It is such a circus in the coop right now. Lulu and Rene are in there right across from the chick pen, both broody. Rene is proving to be a b*tch to break, and Lulu is Lulu not even going to mess with her.
Negan bless his inner soccer mom heart has figured out how to flip latches and get in with his "babies".
It took a good 15 mins to get them out because of him, he was sitting on quite a few.
If they wouldn't fit through the fence still I would let the man have his brood.:D
