Yup! I've been napping whenever I can recently. If it isn't my bladder waking me up at night, once a week or so it is Thing 1. Last night he woke me up at 3:19 wanting cuddles. I told him it wasn't time for cuddles and to go back to sleep. Of course, I had to turn on the stupid noise maker. He was asleep enough for me to turn it off around 4, but I was pretty awake by then. Around 4:45, I start dozing off when I hear Thing 1 start sobbing in his sleep. I guess he had a nightmare. I had to wake him up and cuddle him for about 10 min before he stopped doing that breathing hitch that you get after you've been crying and he relaxed. Fortunately, he was able to go right back to sleep without the music machine and I was asleep shortly thereafter. I wish I could nap today, but I'm working.I am a firm believer in sleep when you can.
This isn't white noise, it plays a muszac version of rock-a-bye baby over and over. I can change it to white noise or a different song, but they don't work as well to get him to sleep.
Ohhh nasty, lesson learned no more life hack videos.
De-haired the carpet that didn't look hairy but it WAS. Used one of those hard sponges that softens in water a "scrub daddy" moistened it a little and did wax on wax off on the carpet and made a tribble.
If you only got one tribble you are doing good!
I get a herd of tribbles every other day with a malamute in the house.
