OG Rooster Attacked by Younger Rooster

Once he's deposed the flock leader, it is unlikely that the young rooster will peacefully coexist with him. It's all about assuring that his DNA gets to carry on.

It’s cold in there this morning- I’m just waiting for someone to help me carry the kennel out. TBH, it looks like he’s breathing faster then he was when he was sleeping last night.

I've kept multiple boys for years. I have Had a few relatively peaceful changing of the guards. Yesterday two cockerels violently overtook the 2 reigning roos while they were locked in because of weather. The closer quarters were not so good for the mature roos, but they did end up hiding and look like they will recover. Cockerels are currently in a dog crate. They will make a trip to the auction house Monday.
