OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Wish I could have been able to snag whatever was available, but I admit, I wasn't prepared, setup-wise, to take in some more. That will change this season..hehe
All of the goats went to good homes and so did the rest of the ducks. I was so happy about that. I am glad that soon you will be able to add to all of those beautiful acres you have. My setup is limited and 22 ducks is quite a bit for me. They are all doing well though and seem happy. I just keep buying more poultry pens. TSC loves me I am sure, lol.

Nice, I'm somewhat interested in bringing in new blood, but looking for well built, bred for size.
Ours are pretty big. Mike Sullivan line.
Now getting them to hatch is another issue... I'll let you know if there ever are any, if you're still interested at that point.

Just checking in to see how my fellow Buckeyes are doing this fine day.
Cold Knobby, Cold!!! Ducks are all fine and my Muscovy gals have given me two eggs twice lately. They are like gold because it has been so long since I have gotten any at all. I dropped one and almost cried but managed to fry it up for the dog so she was hoping I would drop the other one, lol. NO CHANCE!!!! lol I hope that you are doing well. We still have about 6 inches of snow on the ground and it will be even colder tomorrow. I thank the Good Lord for my heated gloves so that my hands don't freeze off while checking out the bus in the early mornings. They are a Godsend for sure!

It's beginning to snow over here once more..but what should one expect since its mid January. My ducks have been consistently laying 2 to 3 eggs a day, and my chickens have surprisingly picked up in their production...giving me 3 to 4 eggs a day now.

Took advantage of the cold spell by venturing onto my pond. Thought the top was fully frozen solid, so I wanted to hack away at the cattails while I had the chance. Unfortunately, the ice wasn't thick enough and I fell through up to my chest. Had to run into the house and take a hot bath to defrost myself..hehe
