Romance in the coop? It happened this am. Curly, got out his little chicken step ladder and climbed on top of Vivian! She succumbed to his charm. It also helps that he grabs her right behind the comb! As far as Mrs. C goes, I did not go to the country tonight to pick her up. It was such a nice day, I thought I would give them more time together.
There were no eggs today? I think Sparkle and Naughty Snow White, laid outside somewhere. I can hardly blame them. I would not want to come inside to lay an egg on a warm day like today. The backdoor of our garage has steps just outside that open to under our deck which is a glorious place for bugs, leaves and sand and so many treats a chicken cannot resist, they spend most of the day exploring and scratching about. The deck is 16'X25' so there is a lot of ground for a little chicken to cover....
