Olive & Easter eggers - what gender?

Oh no!!! Today I was looking at their tails and really think I have 5 cockerels! That leaves me 4 pullets! What do I do! Won’t there be too many boys!

You can't really judge EEs by their tails at that age so don't panic!

You have 9 total, right? You'll honestly probably only want to keep 1 cockerel if you keep any at all. So just have a plan ready to get rid of the extra males. I wouldn't make a decision on who to keep until they're much more mature. Base it on personality. You don't want one that is harassing the pullets or attacking humans so weed them out that way.

Thanks! Good advice. I just get so attached to them all at this age. Oh it’s gonna be hard when I get to that stage but hopefully find homes for whomever we need to later.
