Olive Egger look like Barred Rock

That "poof on top" is called a crest. Crests can be large like in the case of the Polish or small like in the case of the Legbar. All crests are caused by a deformity called a "vaulted skull"-the deformity causes a lump on the skull that has big holes in it, and it makes the nostril area slightly deformed as well. This vaulted skull commonly causes brain issues such as seizures, fainting, and water in the brain, but it is still bred into many breeds because of the adorable crest it makes on the chicken's head. But do not worry, not all chickens with vaulted skulls get brain problems.

Looks like they’re getting close to laying so when you do get eggs, share a picture! I also have Olive Eggers (mine look completely different than yours but that’s not unusual) and hoping to see some colorful eggs soon myself.

How can you tell they are almost read y to lay? I have two other hens one lays blue and one lays brown I hope they lay olive so I can tell and can post
 
You are welcome! Your chickens are hens by the way, and I hope they can give you some pretty eggs! Like said above, send pictures of the eggs if you want! And always come back we have more questions.
